- Reading/Viewing Response: Save time during the class period by posting YouTube videos and articles on the blog for students to read/view and respond to for homework. This "flip the classroom" model allows teachers more time to actively engage students in the classroom.

- Current Events: Topics in the news are critically important to the history classroom, but many teachers have a hard time incorporating all of the relevant information into their school year. By posting articles on current news topics and having students respond on the blog, students can still keep up-to-date on the world's happenings while staying on topic in the classroom as well.
